OHSU Translational Role in Aging Innovation: Molecules to Monkeys to Mirabella

This innovative conference will feature national keynote speakers, top OHSU scientists, clinicians and educators, and a scientific poster session for OHSU researchers and trainees involved in aging research. This event will kick off the Healthy Aging Alliance’s vision to address the gaps that currently exist between innovative aging research related to understanding the biology of aging and care delivery for the population.

Conference goals include:
a) Meeting potential collaborators and mentors for aging research projects

b) Developing OHSU’s roadmap for Aging Research over the next 10 years

c) Disseminating research findings via poster presentations and group discussion

d) Sparking new training opportunities for clinicians on quality care for older adults

The event will include keynote speakers, our inaugural Transforming Aging Award, a poster session, and an expert panel on Transforming the Aging Trajectory. Refreshments will be provided. A detailed program and instructions for preparation of posters will be sent out soon.

Poster presenter deadline is Wednesday, September 7. Please share information about this event with trainees and other members of your research group and collaborators. We welcome faculty and trainee posters!
